How come the program i used to decrypt ie7 pwds doesn't work with ie8. i thought they are the same, wats different?

uhmm don't have idea because I don't know the algorithm used by them, you should contact the authors of these other passwords decrypter.
anyway "IE PassView" claims to support both 7.0 and 8.0, have you tried it?

Yeah thats what i used, it dont work with ie8 beta 2. And their are sources for ie recovery on the net.

Well ill keep looking for a c source for u, so u can see if their is a problem.

no sorry, I'm not interested in IE or other M$ stuff.

anyway as far as I know M$ simply uses its own cryptoAPI so it's the same also for IE.
the only problem is finding the real informations (like example source code) on internet due to the abnormous amount of closed source and fake "password recoveries" and other blahblahblah.
