Hello,

is there any way to hid my ip by using rcon? I've hacked a server and now got rcon, but well, by /killserver or something it shows in the logfile :/

Game is SoF2.

edit : Or how would be a proxy or something like that? I just dont want to be banned if I using rcon...

the good thing of rcon is that the UDP packet contains both password and command so it's spoofable, but naturally this requires that your system/network is configured for spoofing packets easily.

You can try using a SOCKS server, take a look here:

I've already tried that program, but it doesn't changed my IP. I was still banned (1 week ago I want to bypass a ban). However, I've choose a IP from a list, configured the program like you said/wrote and also by SoF2 Netsettingsmenu and was connecting, but it still happens...

Also my SoF2 is then always hanging on. Could you discribe it better how to test if the proxy works? I don't find a program with name netcat at Google.

just get TOR and proxyfirewall...
thats all you need to route ANYTHING thru proxy.

if you refer to see the files on a server through rcon, exists the dir command but it's only limited to the game's folder

http://vidalia-project.net/download.php - best proxy .. includes TOR + some extra features. works just fine on games, but i dont think you can play with it .. lags too much.

about the dir command ... when im logged in with the rcon password i can just type dir ? does it work in other games too ? like HL, CS ..etc ?
