When i try to patch the call of duty 2 1.0 exe with q3dirtravfix. Then i get this error:
Code:
the function Q_strncpyz has not been found

I am doing something wrong, or doesn't this patch work for cod2. (Does the patch also work on an exe with anti crash patch?)

Thanks,

Mitch

Ok, i thought that was probably it. But can it be changed so that it works, or is that too much work?

if I'm not in error I gave it a look just recently to see if was possible a 5-minutes work on it to make it compatible (like the modification of some lines of code in the patcher) but was a longer work.
so nothing

I want to try it myself, but i think i need some advice how to do it. And what the best way is to start on this fix. Also what programs should I use? I already got visual studio 2010 to compile the program.

you need knowledge of assembly and debugging so ollydbg and/or ida are the tools
