Is there a way to run proxymini detached from the command prompt so I can close the cmd.exe and still have the proxymini running?

proxymini is a console application so the console you see is already the program.
for making it hidden you must open proxymini.exe with a hex editor and substituiting 03 with 02 at offset 0xdc.
obviously this is an "hack" that works with all the console applications

the one that specifies the subsystem, if you are in doubt you can use a tool for the editing of the PE files for modifying it

Luigi what program are you using ? PE explorer or something else, i cant find any ways of changing info in PE explorer. it shows it, but nothing more.
0003h - win32 console
i was assuming it is the first 00 03 in hex, but it isnt.

here I use a modified version of peditor because the original one adds a stupid signature to the modified executable (shame on the author for having done a similar thing)

Ok.I found it.Offset 03DC shows only zeros.Do I have to rename the offset or some of its values.I do not see a way to rename the offset, only its values...
Code:
0ffset 000003DC 00000000000000000000000000

wow it's really incredible that nobody here knew about this trick of the subsystem 0x03->0x02.
well at least now there is a trace of it on the forum so I'm sure other people would have fun and interest in it

i never needed anything like it and i never even tought about it before. its not really even necessary, probably he asked, cuz he wants to fuck over some "friends" :)
however it is better, i just put proxymini.exe shortcut into my startup, so it always runs.
