q3unban works perfect at a lot of servers (wolfET) but at etpub 2 i have some servers where i get the follow error: Bad number of slashes in userinfo.

What does this mean?

ensiform's anti fake players, its a mod... ensiform posted some stuff about the code and people can use it in their mods... it checks userinfo for slashes, it doesnt work 100% because i try to connect to some servers on JA using it and im a regular player not a fake player and it says i have "bad number of slashes"

technically no because it scans userinfo specifically everytime... ensiform's code was made specifically for JA, so i guess they 'converted' it to enemy territory
technically yes because u can just go to another server that doesn't have the mod or a "anti fake players"

i've had the same problem when joining some servers with this "fix" and i dont like it... so no there really isn't anything u could do to 'fix' your problem

what exactly it does then ? how comes fake players have slashes and real player doesnt (in most cases)
what i am missing here...dont understand a thing atm ... sry but im confused.

userinfo has a lot of slashes, \ like "name\evan" that checks for a certain amount of slashes in a certain pattern, it doesn't work too well though since u dont have all your stuff 'filled out' when u enter a server

oh i get it ... like name/age/ip/port/ ...just example.
so if bot joins it would be like /,/,/ ... where , is empty field ?

and yes im new to patches :) so basically if you edit source code and make it fill all the fields ... it works ?

what are u talking about "fill all fields" ?
