The forum has been opened some days ago and it's still in a so called beta stage (I have finished to add the descriptions of the sections just 2 minutes ago).

I have decided to open it after the requests of some people and I think it's a good place where talking publicly about new ideas, suggestions and moreover for helping people to use stuff.

The rules about this forum for the moment are the following:

- no negative/malicious posts, all my research is 100% neutral (like any research in the world should be) so I'm not interesting in knowing how you use positively or negatively my research; any invalid thread/post/pm will be moved in the trash section or just ignored

- not a news archive, avoid thousands of single post threads about news

- no cracks, avoid to talk about removing limitations in specific commercial programs. no-cd are not cracks and so there are no limitations on discussing them: http://aluigi.org/patches/nocd.txt

- no endless posts, use the attachment option if you need to show code

- no redundancy, avoid to talk about things which have been already discussed in the forum and avoid to attach tools or code which is already public... a link to the original source is the best solution

I bet new rules will be needed to add...

Usually people ask me how to use my stuff, the following link will show some info (which naturally are useful for any other command-line tool, not only mine):

A note about IPs: please avoid to post public IP addresses or talk about specific hosts.
This is valid for both your machines (in case of patches or requests of testing) and not (anything else).

I have in mind to stop the morons which arrive on this forum with stupid questions about crashing this and crashing that.

if a person is so stupid to be not able of formulating a question in a good way (exist tons of ways for asking something or retrieving informations, it's just the matter of being a bit smarter) his thread will be moved in the trash section with a stupid reply like that of the "hammer" or just nothing at all.

i think you should put a big RED text into rules.
DO NOT POST STUPID OR OBVIOUS QUESTIONS !!!
under that i mean .. really dumb questions. like when you say that ''i dont know any other bugs tht can crash server'' and then he/she asks ''is there any way to still crash it''
under ovious things i mean thigns u can EASILY find on google by simply googling the topic you looking for. or things tht are already on ur site.
so yeah, pretty good idea to remove those.

you kidding ? you are like only one who does, what you do in whole internet. i haven't seen anybody else who actually makes such tools and specially helps ppl..not just saying some junk like most of those stupid wannabes who make one tool and then they think they are god lol.
actually if you would host your own forum to aluigi.org. so it would be like aluigi.org/forum, then it would show up on even more searches and more on top. on some reason search engines find the non-free forums first. also if you would make a google sitemap for your forum, it would also make it way more visible, but im not sure if its possible with freeforum. it either needs a file upload to verify its yours or adding of a special tag.
