Hi , is it possible to turn off the bf2 mod check ?
Example : I will use the ffolkes unlock678 Serverside http://uploaded.to/?id=amiuqa
Singleplayer works but multiplayer dosnt work .
is it possible to modified the bf2ded.exe to allow this ?

have i understood correctly. you want to turn off a file check ? (so if you have modified files you will still be able to play online ?)

only for curiosity, what is the fastest way to replicate this problem?
is the server which dosn't start with modified packages or kicks clients with modified packages?

Sevrer is starting ,but client is crashing without any error message ,because server is modet

as Luigi said, everything is possible, but i think it is very hard. im quite sure that you would have to modify whole game, because if you are able to turn off file check, then it means you can hack in that game big time. in other words you can modify your game files to whatever you like and then join server (jumping like 20 times higher than others, running 100 times faster, shooting faster..etc, anything you like in other words). Im quite sure that this is why they even make this file check.

as about mods, you have to mod both, server and client, then it will work. I tried to turn off file check in avp2, but what i found out is that you need source code of game (edit it and recompile the game, so it would send fake file check packets). Even if specific file check is turned off, then server still awaits for the response and won't allow you to join before response.

i don't know exactly how file check works, but im quite sure that server does not check all files and it surely does not check whole file, it either checks file size or something like that, because if it would check data of a 1gb file, it would take AGES to join a server.

What I will do must be easyer . When yo take a look on ffolkes unlock mod ,then you see the files allready exist on bf2 : Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/object_server.zip/weapons...
its apart of the game .
The same with this blood patch : http://files.filefront.com/BF2+BloodPuf ... einfo.html
take a look on your client files : Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/object_client.zip/effect/textures/animated/animated_blood .....
blood is also exist on bf2 ,but not enabled

I don't have any of the BF, so i can't take a deeper look in it. this was just general about games and file checks.

in short way with my bad english ,
I will mod only files that are exist in bf2 ,not files from outside.
And the modding with phython got limits ,the only way to got nice mods is edit the exe
