Hello,

I am having the following problem with a program used to extract maps from WoW archive/mpq files. I know this program works perfectly fine for like 95% of the people who use it. I have a problem however.

Here is a screenshot:

I have java, and .netframework 3.5 installed.

Thanks for any tips on this. I've been for a couple hours now and I can't find the problem.

that code in in C++, that message means that in the program there is a check which interrupts the execution if this inputbuf is not NULL (uhmm which seems to be in the VC++ library, very strange).
do you know if this program is open source?
maybe there are new versions which solve the problem

No its not open-source. There are many different compiled versions that align with the versions of whichever particular WoW client/server. I've tried other versions and some give the same error and some run partially and then quit with no error.

There are a few other people who have problems like this, but most do not have the same as the screenshot I posted. I know some that it works fine for.

I installed the visual c++ runtime files but it still didn't work. (8.0)
