I know there are some mods out there that can protect 2.2 against a lot of crash scripts.

Does anyone have anything available to protect a JA+2.2 server from crashing? There is a reason why its running JA+2.2 and prefer not to upgrade to 2.4 or anything.

Any assistance, would be hugely appreciated. Thanks

for the security bugs of which I'm aware (I'm not a JA player) the examples which come in my mind are:
- fix for q3infoboom bug: http://aluigi.org/patches/jaw101q3infofix.zip
- fix for jamsgbof bug: http://aluigi.org/patches/jamsgfix.txt
- fix for q3cbufexec bug: http://aluigi.org/patches/q3cbufexecfix.lpatch
- fix for directory traversal: http://aluigi.org/patches/q3dirtravfix.zip
- disable the rcon half-second limit: http://aluigi.org/patches/q3rconz.lpatch

note that the above are mainly referred to the Windows server, although except some of them the other work also with the Linux server

yep, the most servers are linux in JK.JA, and these fixes are to change the bytes in the Win. exe, if im right.
For linux Servers, i think, you have to patch the jalinuxded file, but i have tried some fixes and they didnt work :P
