not sure, but i think i asked help with it somewhere. it was in some other thread, but now i started new thread cuz i really want to know what program can support it ?! Passwordspro and cain are able to process most hash types..but this is something completely new ..
I would like to know what kind of hash it is exactly ! ..i know its some kind of md5, but what kind??

The new phpbb hashing function can be found in the /includes/functions.php file inside of forum installations with a version > RC6. Here is what they base it off of now: http://www.openwall.com/phpass/

Looks like there is a number of functions used to hash the password, such as a salting technique. The base hashing function is phpbb_hash();
