Hello Luigi!
I'm from Poland, and I really enjoyed Sam & Max - season one, which was fully translated by CDPROJEKT - polish developer. They don't want to translate season two, because It's to expensive. I want to try and translate it myself, but I can't run your tool. Can you tell my step by step, how to extract ttarch files, and then, after translating, pack them again? I downloaded the program, and I competly don't know how to use it.
I'm using Windows Vista. On your site only available version is 0.1.10. Is it actual?

EDIT: It's ok now, I set wrong game number. Do you know any good tools for editing .langdb?

how exactly you even plan to work with the langdb files, if you have none of them ? you noticed just now that you can't even get hold of any of those files ? i don't understand now, isnt the first step to get the file and then do research on how to work on those files.

first get the langdb file and then ask questions about it.

maybe it's supported by the Lang DB editor referred here:
http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f ... a&start=60
you must read some of those posts to find the latest version of that tool.

otherwise the only alternative is the manual hex editing

You could say to pack it ^^ No problem.

Luigi, that editor doesn't work. If I only can get a way to edit it...
Oh, sorry, there is one, but I can't download it
Yeah, it works (only for two episodes, but it's not problem for now). And the last thing - how to rebuild ttarch for Ice Station Santa?

i knew nothing about langdb files so i wanted to see if its readable, so do what Luigi suggested, just use hex editor.

what kind of player(s) read langdb anyways ? my bsplayer doesn't reconize it as subtitles. for example BSPlayer has built-in subtitle editor, you can edit while watching a movie with subtitles or just write your own, but it does not support langdb.

langdb is a custom file used in the games developed by TellTales and its format differs (a bit) even between their various games

Ok, I've got an editor, but I don't understand command used to pack a ttarch.

I'm starting to learn how to fully use ttarchext, but I get an error with -V option.

Also, your program can unpack .dds files. Is there a way to pack them?

doesn't make much sense to me, why would game have subtitles like that, anyways i will leave this topic by, i already gave my suggestion, i wouldn't hassle with those tools at all, just hex edit if you can't get the tools working.

Hello All!

First let me say i am new here, and very noob at running exe's through the command window. That being said, here goes. Does the Ttarchext support the new back to the future game yet? Also, i watched the video about running your tools and i'm still totally lost. I will check google for more info if no one can help me here. Basically i'd like to extract some models and textures from that game. ANY help is uber appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: Figured out how to run it andwhat to do. Now i just need an updated version with the BTTF game in it :)
